World Record for Date Nights...

We had a world record for two consecutive date nights. On Friday night we went out to eat at Carino's while Heather (Corey's sister and her husband) watched our kids. They are our babysitters but not for long since Bryan-Heather's husband will be getting an MBA at UCLA starting in the fall. We had a great evening out just the two of us and it was to celebrate Corey getting his PE license but also just to get out before having baby Brady. On Saturday we had a busy day with the kids in the morning. Then my parents drove an elderly man to a meeting here in Austin from Kingwood so they swung by to see us and the kids. While they were gone Corey was playing in a church softball game and then when he got home they took off to go pick up the guy they drove to Austin. So, Corey got home and we took off to College Station. We attended the wedding of a very good friend of Corey's which gave us our second night out without our kids. Grandma watched the kiddos and their cousins Stetson and Alexis were even there so they had a GREAT TIME! The wedding was great and so was the reception. We got back to Corey's parents house pretty late so we just stayed the night and then drove home this morning. We feel very fortunate to have such awesome family members to watch our kids for two nights in a row for two different reasons! Thank you to the family who watched our kids this weekend. This was probably the last time we get out as a couple for awhile since the birth of Brady is on its way in a few weeks.
