Captain Grant and Dragon Soccer

After the morning rain and Ashlyn's soccer game being cancelled, the weather cleared and we were able to enjoy Grant's game that was in the afternoon. Yesterday, Grant started his soccer season and he is playing with FFPS (Fun, Fair, Positive, Soccer). It is a great organization and this is the second year we have done it. Grant was the team captain yesterday for his team, The Dragons. The weather turned out great and the team played well.

Here he kicking the ball. He sure is getting tall and I am a bit sad he's turning 8 on the 18th.

The coach of the team we are on are friends with Bachrach's whom we are also friends with. This is Sydney who is friend's with the coaches daughter but also friends with Ashlyn. She came to the game to cheer on the team, and also hang out with Em and Ashlyn! They had a blast!!

I didn't keep score but I am sure some of the boys on the team did. It was the first game and we've got 7 more to go.
