Thursday night was the Pinewood Derby for the Cub Scouts. There was an awesome turnout and the boys had a lot of fun racing their cars. This was Grant's first Pinewood Derby. He had a blast and the best part is that Brady loves playing with the cars that Grant and Corey worked hard on.
This is just some of the kids...there are plenty more. They all had to stay behind the line of masking tape which is a hard thing to do with excited 8-10 year old boys.
This is a heat. Grant's car is the white one with maroon stripes. We wanted to make sure his would make an Aggie Proud.
And his car came in 1st in this heat...here Grant is checking out the place the cars came in. 
Corey is already thinking of the design for next year's Pinewood Derby. I am grateful for all the leaders who helped put this on and it is a joy to watch Grant grow in the scout program.
