This is our 2nd year camping with friends during Spring Break. We had so much fun! We packed up on Wednesday and came home Friday night (late) to avoid the rain that was predicted for Saturday. When Corey got home from his half day at work on Wednesday, all Grant wanted to pack and take was this....
Nothing else mattered to Grant. He only wanted his bike. The kid loves going camping and he talks about it 3 months out of the year since we first started going last year. The great thing that Corey and I realized today is that when we've gone camping these two times is that our kids do not fight, are always in sight but playing with their friends or in Grant's case, riding his bike! They never bugged us and so it felt sort of relaxing....camping is a lot of work and my husband carried the load but I love him for that :). He cooks when we camp, I get a break from it for the few days we are there. Here he is chillin' watching a fire he started.
Here is Brady chillin' in his little chair....he loved being outside and being all dirty all the time!
Here is Ashlyn chillin' in her chair. I would have a picture of Grant in his chair but he was ALWAYS on his bike with a smile on his face. He was on that bike 97% of the time we were there.

Brady showing me he is going to get dirty....this kid was in heaven! I on the other hand was not thrilled with the amount of dirt but what can ya do when your kids are having the time of their life?! Just enjoy it!

All of Thursday, I was worried that Ashlyn wouldn't play with many kids because all the kids that were there she never see's them much anymore. But I was very proud of her and she really loved playing with this cute boy, Brock. She loved everything he was doing. He is such a funny boy and is part of a great family! You will never believe it but Brock is 4 months younger than Ashlyn and look at the height difference! Here they are standing on some of the dirt they were playing in....

Here they are goofing around...Ashlyn talked a lot about him while we were there. He sure was so nice to play with her.

I just couldn't resist this picture....

On Friday morning Ashlyn got up and found a cute group of girls to play with....Here they are sitting on a log. Sydney, Ashlyn, Brooklyn, and Rachel

Ashlyn loved playing with the girls on Friday and here is her and Sydney..

Kids also play fun games with dirt...here Ashlyn is having a dirt fight with Brock. Brock never was able to get her with any dirt.

Here is my cute boy hanging out with a Basketball he found that belonged to another family. He loves any 'ball'! This ball was perfect for Friday because it was a basketball and he was wearing his A&M shirt. The game was on later that day....

We walked to another part of the park and had snowcones with everyone. This is what happened to Brady on the way back...He was just getting a nap in before the game :)

You can't camp without makeup, according to Ashlyn. She brought this along this year and pulled it out and was able to get cute Brooklyn to come put on makeup with her. It was soooo cute!

Well, Friday afternoon this kids decided they'd dig a hole and get even more dirty....Here is Brock showing them the hole he is starting to dig.

Grant could only handle being off his bike for so long so here he is riding by the hole digging.

Friday afternoon the Texas A&M game was on and we had some families who had some sweet RV's. Here are some of the husbands watching the TV with the game on it....
This is one 'sweet' way to watch the game camping. Thanks to Dave for having the laptop to be able to hook up to the game. And yes, Texas Aggies beat the Utah State Aggies! It was definitely a fun camping trip and my kids had such a wonderful time! I enjoyed playing games and visiting with such wonderful families. It was a great way to end Spring Break.

Great pics! I'm stealing some of them. It was fun to get to hang out with y'all again for a few days. Not enough Ags in our ward.
Here's to another great year of camping:)
How funny... Jaxson has that Buc-EE's shirt your friend Brock is wearing. Our kids think that is the greatest store.
So you guys much be having decent weather for camping. That looks really nice, and the kids looked like they had a blast.
Some old friends returned to Bartlesville over Spring Break and said she met you there... Stephanie Green.
Too bad the Ags couldn't pull of their second game, that was a shame!
What a fun Spring Break for your family! Such cute pictures. You are such a talented photographer!
That looks like fun! I wish we could go camping for Spring Break, but it is still WAY to cold here (we are supposed to get snow tomorrow!). Glad your kids liked it. And that IS one sweet RV hookup!
